Laira

The good Laira is the goddess of Knowledge. Known as The Mother, her two aspects are Laira Thagani, HIgh Queen of the Gods, and Laira Sigbrans, Queen of the Moon. As the lawful Laira Thagani, she gains the domains of Tempest and Trickery. As the neutral Laira Sigbrans, she gains the domains of Light and Nature. Laira is also known as Laira Frashi, Queen of Valor. In this chaotic aspect, she gains the domains of Tempest and War.

Worship

Laira is the primary female deity in Tarmerian religion. The rituals dedicated to her usually involve sacrifice by water, such as the drowning of an animal or the casting of valuables into the sea. Prayers to Thagani are mostly prayers for kindness and safety, while prayers to Sigbrans are mostly prayers for riches and prosperity. To Frashi go those who died protecting their kin, breathing their last so their families should breathe on.
